Juantrell’s Comfort Bear Program
Juantrell’s Comfort Bear Program provides memorial teddy bear urns to families grieving the loss of an infant, offering something soft to hold while keeping their baby’s memory close. Inspired by Juantrell Bear, the program was created to share the comfort our family found with other grieving families.
After my son Juantrell passed away, I searched for ways to keep his memory close. One of the most meaningful sources of comfort I found was a memorial teddy bear designed to hold his cremated remains.
Juantrell Bear gave me something tangible to hod when I missed him most. He has traveled with our family, allowing us to carry a special reminder of Juantrell with us as we continue to make memories.
That comfort inspired this program. Through Juantrell’s Comfort Bear Program, I hope to give other grieving families something soft to hold while keeping the memory of their baby close.

These memorial teddy bears offer grieving families more than a keepsake—they provide something soft and comforting to hold when words simply aren’t enough.
Each bear is created in memory of a baby and includes a discreet compartment designed to safely hold a small portion of cremated remains. The bear becomes a tangible way for families to keep their child close at home, on special occasions, or wherever life takes them.
Through Juantrell’s Comfort Bear Program, the Juantrell Golden Harvey Foundation provides these bears to eligible families at no cost-sharing with others the same comfort Juantrell Bear has brought to our family.
How the Program Works
Partner funeral homes provide eligible familieswith a Comfort Bear certificate following the loss of an infant when cremation has been chosen.
Families use the certificate to order a personalized memorial bear created especially in memory of their baby.
The bear is created and personalized according to the family’s selections.
The Foundation covers the cost, allowing the family to receive their Comfort Bear at no expense.
